For outdoor use, glass is stronger against ultraviolet rays and heat than synthetic resin, and especially abroad, thicker tempered glass is used to prevent breakage. In addition, when used outdoors, applying an AG (Anti-Glare) coating to the glass can reduce reflections caused by sunlight. Another method to prevent reflection is the AR (Anti-Reflection) coating, which increases the glass’s light transmission characteristics. By coating the glass surface, the transmittance in the visible light range can be increased, while the reflectivity of light can be reduced.

By applying a mirror coat and forming a reflective film, the surface can reflect like a mirror, and when the brightness of the display part, such as an LCD, is increased, that part can be displayed, making it possible to produce cover glass with high design quality.
